Africa is composed of 58 nations and has African Union (AU) as its umbrella organisation like European Union. The AU celebrates Africa Day on 25th May each year. Here in South Australia, we are starting celebration of African Day on 24/25 May 2014, through strategic principles of partnership, education, empowerment and engagement: including food and culture, music and arts, and sport. We, ACOSA, therefore request that all community groups, corporate business world, media , sponsors, local universities, SA Amateur Football League, Sports Clubs, FFSA, Honourable Members of Parliament (MPs), Local Government and key State Government Departments such Multicultural, DIMIA & DCSI come on board and support this historic initiative project and occasion.
